- Guitar- All styles, acoustic and electric. Fingerpicking, open tunings, lead work, rhythm styles and the Blues are specialties
- Bass- Lines, working within a rhythm section, harmony, etc.
- Bodhran (traditional Irish hand drum)- Celtic beats and rhythms, use in other types of music, variations of sounds, etc.
