About Sovereignty
My name is Tommy Byrnes. As a professional musician with over 30 years in the business I always found the hardest part of being successful making music, either for fun or profit, was finding the right information and guidance so I could worry less about the ins and outs and concentrate more on the music. That’s what led me to start Sovereignty Music Services.
Recording, education, consultation and artist relations are the focus at Sovereignty.
Southpaw Recording Studios is our cozy digital recording studio where clients and students can work in a creative, collaborative environment. All students have access to the studio and are encouraged to record. There are courses in recording, music production and music business available.
Musical instrument instruction is an important part of Sovereignty. Lessons in guitar, bass, and bodhran (the traditional Irish hand drum) are offered privately. Lessons are given at the studio in Bernardston, MA. Your one-hour lessons focus on fundamentals, ear training, exploring the creative process and having fun!
Sovereignty Music offers consultation in many areas of the music industry including studio set-up and operation, making music your business and strategies for success (your definition of success).
